Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026. This policy explains how CVMate handles your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

We collect the CV content, job ad text and contact information you provide to analyse or generate your application, plus order information and basic technical data such as IP address and browser information for security, attribution and rate limiting. Partner applicants also provide their name, email, channel or website, audience, promotion plan and optional ABN.

How we use it

Your CV and job ad text may be processed by our AI providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to analyse and rewrite your application. Your email is used to deliver results, service messages and receipts. Partner information is used to review applications, administer referrals, calculate commissions and make payments. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and security

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers, including Supabase and Netlify, email delivery is handled by Resend, and payments are handled by Stripe. Partners receive aggregate referral and commission reporting only; they do not receive customer CV content, job advertisements, card details or other customer application data. We use reasonable security controls and retain information only as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, disputes and fraud prevention.
