How it works
We review partners first, then create the tracking assets. You focus on useful, honest recommendations; CVMate handles attribution and the commission ledger.
Your partner code is a tracking identifier inside your referral link. It is not a customer discount code unless CVMate expressly issues and labels it as one.
Tell us who you help and how you plan to introduce CVMate. Every application is reviewed.
Approved partners receive an individual referral link containing a unique partner code.
Share CVMate with relevant job seekers and clearly disclose that you may earn a commission.
We attribute eligible first purchases, apply the hold period and pay qualifying balances monthly.
What responsible promotion looks like
CVMate can help people strengthen and tailor their application. Partners must not promise interviews, jobs, guaranteed ATS passage or results that cannot be substantiated.
Partner application
Give us enough context to understand your audience and promotion plan. A website is useful but not required.
The agreement
Version 2026-08-13. These terms apply when you apply to and participate in the CVMate Partner Program.
Applicants must be at least 18, have authority to enter this agreement and provide complete, accurate application and payment information. CVMate may approve or decline an application at its discretion and is not required to provide a reason.
Applying does not make you an approved partner and does not create any commission entitlement. Participation begins only when CVMate confirms approval and activates your partner record and link. The relationship is that of independent contractors; it is not employment, agency, franchise, partnership in law or an exclusive arrangement.
The standard commission is 25% of the eligible net amount from a referred customer's first eligible cash purchase from CVMate, including a CV package or standalone LinkedIn Profile Audit unless CVMate states otherwise. The eligible net amount excludes GST or other taxes, discounts, credits, refunded amounts, chargebacks and other reversed payments. No commission is earned on free products, later purchases by an existing customer, test payments or purchases that CVMate reasonably identifies as fraudulent.
CVMate may agree a different rate with a partner in writing. The rate recorded against the partner account when the attributed checkout is created applies. Commission is calculated and recorded in Australian dollars.
Approved partners receive an individual referral link containing a unique partner code. The standard attribution window is 30 days from the customer's last valid visit through an active CVMate partner link before checkout. A different window applies only if CVMate agrees it in writing.
Attribution depends on CVMate's records and on the same browser or device retaining the referral cookie. It may be lost where a customer clears or blocks cookies, changes device or browser, uses another partner's link later, or where tracking cannot reasonably connect the visit to the purchase. The partner code is a tracking identifier, not a discount code unless CVMate expressly states otherwise. Links and codes are personal to the approved partner and must not be transferred, sold or shared for use by another promoter.
No commission is payable on an amount that is refunded, charged back, disputed, cancelled or obtained through fraud. Full refunds reverse the related commission. Partial refunds reduce commission proportionally. CVMate may deduct a reversal from pending or future commission, including after a payout where the underlying payment is later reversed.
The standard 35-day hold exists so common refunds and payment reversals can be reflected before commission becomes available. A commission marked as pending is not yet payable.
Available commission is reviewed monthly and qualifying payouts are initiated by the 15th of the following month once the partner's available balance reaches A$50. A balance below A$50 rolls forward; it is not forfeited merely because it is below the threshold. Processing time can vary by payment method and banking provider.
Partners must provide accurate payment and tax information. CVMate may pause payment while reasonably investigating suspected error, fraud, breach, duplicate attribution or missing information. Any agreed third-party transfer fee will be disclosed before it is applied.
Partners must clearly and prominently disclose the commercial relationship wherever CVMate is promoted, close enough to the recommendation to be noticed before a customer acts. A suitable disclosure is: “I may earn a commission if you purchase through this link.” A profile bio alone is not sufficient where the promotion itself can contain a disclosure.
All claims must be truthful, current, capable of substantiation and consistent with approved CVMate materials. Partners must not promise a job, interview, salary increase, guaranteed ATS passage or any result CVMate does not expressly guarantee. Partners are responsible for complying with the Australian Consumer Law, advertising and platform rules, and any laws applying where they operate.
While approved, a partner receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use CVMate-supplied names, logos and marketing materials only to promote CVMate under these terms. Partners must follow current brand guidance, must not materially alter brand assets and must stop using them when approval ends or CVMate asks.
Partners must not present themselves as CVMate, a CVMate employee or an authorised customer-support channel; register domains, social handles or business names containing CVMate or confusing variants; or imply endorsement beyond participation in this program. All CVMate intellectual property remains with CVMate and its licensors.
Partners must not engage in, enable or benefit from:
Partners must comply with applicable privacy, spam and data-protection laws, including consent and unsubscribe requirements. Do not place personal information in a referral URL and do not collect or send CVMate customer passwords, CV files, identity documents, payment details or other sensitive information.
A partner must use any personal information it independently collects only for the disclosed lawful purpose, protect it appropriately and honour deletion or access rights. CVMate handles information it receives under its Privacy Policy. Participation does not grant access to CVMate customer data.
Partners are responsible for their own tax, GST registration, reporting and other obligations arising from commission. Australian partners must provide an ABN or any statement or invoice reasonably required for payment. CVMate may withhold an amount where required by law. Partners should keep their own referral, disclosure and payment records.
A partner may leave the program by contacting CVMate. CVMate may pause links, withhold pending payment while investigating, or terminate participation for breach, fraud, legal or reputational risk, inactivity or discontinuation of the program. Serious or repeated breach may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of commission connected to the breach or invalid activity.
On termination, the partner must stop presenting itself as a CVMate Partner and stop using CVMate brand assets. Valid commission earned before termination remains subject to the hold period, refunds and these terms unless it arose from a breach. After the hold period, a final valid balance is payable within 30 days even when it is below A$50.
CVMate may change, pause or end the program and may update these terms. Material changes will be notified through the contact details supplied by the partner or another reasonable channel. Rate or attribution changes apply prospectively unless required to correct fraud, error or legal non-compliance. Continued participation after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should try in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting support@cvmate.com.au.
